So since I had the reds mixed for my secret santa Super Mario mushroom, I figured that I would finish the last of my Yoshi eggs. Then I decided to look back into an old Instagram post and found that it took me 3 YEARS to do all four. RIDICULOUS, I know. Stupid reasons that made me overthink and anxiety from my old job would frustrate the hell outta me so much that I felt too drained to even create. I started a few other projects around that time, but couldn’t stay motivated enough to finish a single one even with someone interested in buying them. Going forward, I’ll be trying to stick with it as best that I can. I’ve started a separate account just for my art related activities in order to have more focus. Follow it if you’d like, but I can’t promise the frequency of the posts right now. I am still a work in progress, but I just felt a bit of motivation from making yesterday’s piece and it being well received at the art exchange.
